In general, you can only cancel Part A if you have to pay a premium for it, also called Premium Part A. You can choose to cancel Part B. There are two ways to do this. If you have Medicare, it's still possible to lose your health coverage.
You can lose Medicare coverage because of your actions or for reasons beyond your control, such as an insurance provider deciding to discontinue a plan. Medigap Plan B is an option for Medicare supplement insurance. Learn more about the coverage and how it compares to other plans here.
